London Choice® Unique Payment Card (UPC) / Payment System
How it Works
London Choice® uses a virtual credit card payment method (also known as a single use card).
In cases where the hotel/apartment provider does not have and use card processing facilities, London Choice® will pay the net room rates for all reservations by a BACS transfer. Payment will be settled on the check-in date.
London Choice® will pay the net room rates for all reservations as agreed.
Payment will be settled by the London Choice® Unique Payment Card (UPC) details of which will be emailed to the hotel/apartment provider.
Upon charging the card sent by London Choice® the hotel/apartment provider will receive the amount due for the booking.
The virtual card is only valid for the reservation to which it was assigned and for the amount specified on the booking confirmation.
Our commission will be deducted prior to remittance.
The virtual card type is a Corporate MasterCard.
The card is to be charged upon the guest's arrival and within the designated period on the payment voucher.
If the hotel/apartment provider attempts to charge the card prior to check-in the payment will fail.
If the hotel/apartment provider charges a different amount to what is on the booking details the payment will fail. The set charge is for accommodation only. No extras.
In case of amendment, a new London Choice® UPC number will be sent.
If your Hotel fails to charge the card within the stipulated time on the booking voucher after a guest's checkout, the Hotel may not assert any claim against London Choice® with respect to that reservation.
Guests shall be solely responsible for payment of all incidental charges that they may incur in excess of the room charge as stated in the booking confirmation from us.
London Choice® does not require any invoices from providers utilizing the Unique Payment Card facility.
Quick and easy payments via the London Choice® Unique Payment Card ensures better cash flow and reconciliation, gives you full control with better security and fraud prevention, plus eliminates chargeback risk.
